Improve your craft with writing workshops from The Triangle.
About the Workshops
The Triangle Community Writers’ Workshop provides opportunities for working writers in South Central Pennsylvania to receive regular peer and instructor feedback, get exposed to the work of other writers, and, of course, develop their own writing chops.
Our courses are open to writers of various levels, from beginning writers, to published authors, and MFA graduates who miss the structure and community of a workshop setting. Our workshops are the perfect blend of rigorous and approachable, without the huge financial or multi-year time commitment of an MFA program.
Expect to read from contemporary and modern writers. Expect discussions of various formal, technical problems within and across genre. Expect to give thoughtful feedback to your fellow writers. Expect opportunities to generate new work and be held accountable for meaningful revision. Expect to be stretched and challenged and encouraged.
Workshops consist of a set number of sessions, depending on the course, and take place on regular weeknight in downtown Lancaster, PA.
